The Young Government Initiative (YGI) is a flagship leadership and governance program organized by Golden Generation Community Development Club under the Omoluabi Rebirth Movement.
YGI creates a structured, simulated government ecosystem where teenagers and young adults aged 13–30 are identified, rigorously trained, assessed, elected or appointed, and then given real responsibilities in simulated government positions — from Young Governor to Young Councillor, from Young Speaker to Young Commissioner.
Participants gain hands-on experience in public speaking, governance, policy-making, community development, and civic responsibility — the very foundations of transformational leadership.

A transparent, merit-based process from application to appointment.
Complete the multi-step online application form with your personal details, leadership experience, and personal statement. Upload required documents (passport, ID, recommendation letter).
Our AI-powered screening system checks application completeness, verifies eligibility, detects duplicates, scores applications, and generates an initial ranking.
Shortlisted candidates are invited for structured interviews with expert panels. AI-generated questions assess leadership competency, governance knowledge, and character.
Based on position type, candidates go through either a secure online election with verified voting, or a merit-based appointment process with panel recommendation and approval.
Successful candidates receive digital appointment letters, gain access to their Leader Dashboard, and begin their leadership term with assigned projects and responsibilities.
Leaders complete mandatory training modules, execute community projects, participate in the Digital Parliament, and receive their final leadership certificate upon program completion.
